I made the mistake of popping to the supermarket to "pick up a couple of things" on the 23rd, already the car park was full with cars left selfishly blocking pathways and exits, abandoned trollies, and angry men waiting. The shop was packed rude selfish people, bashing into each other and fighting over the cranberry sauce.
ReplyDeleteThere was a queue at every check out, queue upon queue of impatient, rude, angry people ~ my idea of hell ~ I was so in awe of the "girl" at my till who somehow managed to remain her usual friendly happy self.
Maybe we should try to remember that those who serve us are people too!
